What  a very busy and exciting time we are having in Nursery!

Take a peek at how much fun we are having! animated-eye-image-0074[1]

We love to build using lots of different building blocks. Look at how tall we can build!

We had great fun blowing bubbles and watching them float into the sky! They were all shapes and sizes!

We are learning to balance. It’s very tricky and we have to concentrate very hard! It’s a good job we are clever!

We drew around our hands and made a 2 colour pattern

We read the book ‘Norman the Slug With the Silly Shell’

We explored lots of ways to make circle patterns just like Norman’s shell. We even made a friend for Norman out of play-dough! Norman was very happy to have a friend!

The children have had a fun few weeks exploring all the areas in the Nursery and getting to know the staff and the other children as well as learning to follow the Nursery rules.

They have been exploring different textures, such as play dough and ‘gloop’ (cornflour mixed with water) and taking part in a range of art and craft activities, including a snail trail using glue and glitter and choosing different textures and materials to make a snail.

Our new topic for this term is ‘Fill Up My Senses!’ The children will learning about their five senses and how they use them in everyday life.

P.E. sessions will be every Thursday in the hall. Please ensure that Velcro shoes are worn on this day in order to aid their independence.
