In addition, the class with the highest attendance will be receiving a very special treat, perhaps a class party or even an extra long playtime as a reward.

We appreciate that children can sometimes be ill, but could you please make every effort to contact the school to provide a reason for your child’s absence. Wheelie Wednesdays
Rumney Primary School is proud to be part of the Cardiff Healthy Schools Initiative, therefore from Wednesday November 6th 2013, we would like to invite parents and carers of junior pupils to give permission for their children to cycle or scoot to school on Wednesdays as part of our ‘Wheelie Wednesdays’ Initiative.
If at all possible, we would encourage our pupils to do this, as it not only provides fresh air and exercise for our children but is also good for our environment. However, this would be entirely at the discretion of parents and carers.
On Wednesdays your child can leave his/her bike or scooter at a designated place on the school site.
Please note that for Health and Safety reasons the children are not permitted to ride their scooters or bikes on the school site at the beginning and end of the day.
If you would like your son/daughter to cycle or scoot to school as part of our ‘Wheelie Wednesdays’ Initiative, please ask their class teacher for a consent form.
