Blwyddyn Newydd Dda/Happy New Year! We all hope you have had a peaceful Christmas and we hope that 2021 has started well and will continue to bring happier and safer times.
At the end of term in December we shared our school’s plan for the week beginning Monday 4th January.
Hopefully by now you have received the message from the class teachers and you know what the Home Learning looks like for this week. The class teachers will respond to the home learning but it may not be straightaway. Please be in touch by email with the class teacher if you are unsure. Staff will respond to the emails at a convenient time in their teaching and learning schedule.
We are all looking forward to seeing the children back in school as soon as it is safe to do so. As soon as we are sure of the date we will be in touch. What we do know is that all the organisation and procedures we had in place to keep both children and adults safe will remain. I will include a reminder of all these points in my next update.
From Wednesday 6th January to Friday 8th January school will be open for a small number of children of critical workers in Reception to Year 6 , this includes blue light services, social care and education. Please email the school email address with the details we require to consider a place at school. The times of the session are 8:45 am to 3:00 pm. Half day sessions are not available. We need this information before 12 noon on Tuesday 5th January.
School email address: [email protected]
Work details including type and place e.g: Nurse, Heath Hospital
School may be in touch with other families due to other circumstances. Staff will be keeping in touch by video and possibly telephone calls.
Many thanks to you all for your continued support and understanding.
Stay safe and well!
Very best wishes,
Miss D E Williams Mr D Baker
